Baptist Caravan Fellowship

Things have quietened down regarding the Baptist Caravan Fellowship but it was good to meet up with representatives of churches that we have visited as the BCF over the past few years at the Induction of Sheila Martin as the new Regional Minister last Saturday at our church in Braintree. The church was packed and we feel that the Lord has sent her to Essex to "wake up" some of the Baptist churches! Prayerfully we hope that she will soon find a Minister for Braintree Baptist. The programme for 2006 has been distributed at our AGM in Loughton, Milton Keynes, on 8 October which went well and we are now underway with sorting out the 2007 season with requests for return visits from churches visited this past year which will bring us up to 2008 (40th birthday of the Baptist Caravan Fellowship).

We are busy ourselves with Mollie assisting in selling Charity Christmas cards in Braintree Museum and both of us have had the privilege of being very involved at the warehouse in Clare Baptist church with Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for the month of November which meant we met "Peggy". It was good to meet up with "old" friends at Prayer and Share the other Monday. Mollie is still kept busy taking services in the small URC churches around Chelmsford and Braintree picking up other bookings more locally including our own church in Braintree. Plus minding our grandson keeps us active.
