After months of indecision a man plucks up courage and decides that he will make a parachute jump. As he jumps out of the tiny aircraft and pulls the ripcord ... nothing happens. Slightly alarmed he pulls the cord on his reserve chute and again nothing happens. As he plummets downwards he spots another man hurtling upwards at rapid speed.

`Do you know anything about parachutes?' he yells as the man passes him.

`No' said the other man.

`Do you know anything about gas boilers?'
