Tea in the Garden  —  15th July 2012.     Ramsden Park, Ramsden Park Road, 2.30 - 5.30pm.
Stroll around a beautiful garden, have a cream tea or tea and cake for an all inclusive price of £5.

Annual Spring Show  —  24th March 2012
There were 41 Classes to enter with entries from 26 members and non members (as the Society run "open" shows i.e. non members can enter).

Besides daffodils, which form the bulk of exhibits at this time of the year, there were "General Flowers", "Floral Arrangements" and "Homecraft " classes. A total of 218 entries were exhibited.

In the words of the Judge:   "Great Show, wonderful standard of exhibits for a Village Show” .

Well done to all who take the trouble to keep the "village" atmosphere alive.

Membership Fees
Membership fees are £3 per person, £5 per couple.  This allows you to purchase items from the Hut.

The objective is to promote better growing & understanding of all horticultural facets, whilst offering a very good social outlook, with three open shows per year which includes floral art, homecraft, handicraft, as well as flora, flower, fruit, vegetables, potted plants and hanging baskets.

Monthly Meetings
All newcomers are most welcome - no expertise necessary!!
We meet on the third Monday of the month at the Village Hall.  It only costs £3 a year to be entertained at these meetings by interesting speakers, have a free cup of tea and have the privilege of using our horticulture shop for your gardening requirements.

Trading Hut
The hut is open every Sunday morning from 10:00am until 12:00pm during the summer months (March to October).   It supplies many useful products and there are always people on hand to give you advice.   Pop in and see what we have to offer.
