During the past months our social events included the Christmas Dinner, a six mile walk in Danbury on a beautiful bright snowy day followed by a pub lunch. Later in the month there was a League Quiz night held at Hutton.
Our stalls at the Christmas Bazaar were very popular; thanks to all those who supported us. We are now stocking up on china for the china smashing stall at the Fete, so if you have any chipped or unwanted pieces, donations would be gratefully received. These can be brought to the Hall on a Friday evening between 8pm and 10pm.
Regrettably, Our Ladies had to retire from the American League matches because of injury. It is looking unlikely that a pair will be entered for next season, but on a positive note, the men won 9 games to love in a friendly match against a team from Brentwood. The return match has still to be arranged.
