Chairman's Report I must start by making a special thanks to all those who helped last year towards the Village Hall Charity Fund. The final sum reached was £4430. This money was presented at our A.G.M. to Mr W.A. Plunmmer M.B.E. the Chairman of the Brentwood, Hutton & Billericay Branch of the Leukaemia Research Fund. Well Done All.
The Charity for this year as voted for at the A.G.M. will be towards St Lukes Hospice Basildon. Let us now see if we can make this year as successful as last.
Our A.G.M. was held at the Village Hall on the Sunday 29th January 2006, thanks to all those who attended. Accounts and speeches were given out. The past years committee was voted in for another term together with a new member, welcome Mrs A. Welborne, cheques were presented and finally the meeting ended with cheese and wine.
This coming year I hope to get the Village Hall top car park repaired, this depends on how successful we are in getting grants, or raising our own funds.

It is being operated in conjunction with both the Baptist and Parish churches in the village; we will be upgrading it continually with past and present information in fact anything to do with the village that is of interest. Finally this is the first opportunity to wish you all success in the coming year.
