Now the Winter has gone, hope you are all out in your gardens again. I found that this Winter we lost interest but the January meeting on 'Flowers of Turkey' and the first Snowdrops in our own garden soon put paid to that.
In February the inter society quiz at Stock was a good opportunity to meet gardeners from other Societies. Congratulations to Ramsden Heath tile winners. Our own Isabel won the spectators quiz. Also well done to our team on winning the Alton's charity quiz against 13 other teams. (we are busy bees)
The February meeting on Epping Forest was very informative and we all learned something. The shows this year are on 1st July and 16th September. We would like some new entrants to save Bert the task of taking them all home again. The Hut is open on Sundays 10.00 am - 12:00 noon until the end of October. We have a varied programme and Garden Visit to look forward to. If you would like to join us we meet on the third Monday of the month at 8:00pm. Look on the notice board for more information.
