The 04/05 Match Season proved a very competitive but enjoyable one, with our Ladies American pair finishing in fourth position. We all wish them success for their matches this coming Season.
Thank you to everyone who supported our various stalls at the Fete. The china smashing, once again, was very popular. There was a lot of enthusiasm as the novelty items came under fire. Shouts of `get the duck', `smash the elephant', could be heard as the children (and adults) took aim. Once again, we appeal to your generous nature to please save any unwanted items of china for next year's Fete.
We completed our charity bike ride in August, stopping half way for a pub lunch in Herongate and as with last year, were fortunate to encounter a beautiful sunny day.
We would like to express our gratitude to Glenys who retired after serving two years as Club Secretary.
Lastly, if anyone would like to have a game of badminton and is of a reasonable standard, pop along to the Hall Friday, 8pm, £3.00.
