The Ballroom Dancing Club has had a very lively time recently, what with one celebration after another. Earlier in the year we had a V.E. Day Dance, followed by the wedding of two long-term members, then a V.J. Day Dance followed by a Ruby Wedding and last but not least, a 65th Birthday Party for our host Joan.
It is so encouraging to myself, and I am sure to other long--term members of the club, that we now have a very healthy number of regular dancers on Sunday evenings. What I also find so enjoyable to watch (when I need to sit down from time to time) is the nice mix of dancers that we have, from relative beginners to competition dancers, all getting on so well together, and at times helping each other, when need be.
