Hope you all enjoyed your gardens through the Summer (What Summer ?) does anyone know where it went. The talk on Fuchsias in June was very amusing and informative.
The garden visit to Westlands in July was very much enjoyed both for the hospitality received and the cakes that were delicious. Our Summer Show was a success but we would have liked more entries. The plant sale was not as well supported as we would have liked.
Our Autumn Show in September was better attended and we were pleased to see more public viewing in the afternoon. The Show Secretary puts in the same work at all shows, more entries makes this more satisfying. The Hut has been well stocked all Summer and is a place to meet like minded gardeners, it will be open at our meeting on 21st November.
Hope to see more members both present and new at our meetings held on the third Monday in the month at 8.00 pm We have no meeting in December which leaves us to wish you all very early Seasonal Greetings.
