Line Dancing

I really do not believe that it has been over a year since I put an article in the Village Magazine, it just goes to prove that if I do not write one then nobody else will do so.

Well things go on pretty much the same, people go away for a few weeks holiday, but always want to return to dancing once they get back. We all have a great time and the exercise does us good, it also keeps the brain active as we have to remember all the steps, most of our dances have 32 steps per dance, but a few of them have 64 steps for us to remember.

As per usual we danced at the Village Fete and one of the dances we did was some old Glen Miller music (quite fast) and 64 steps, this went so well that we were asked by Isabel to do the same dance at her Garden Party, which is very unusual as we try to change our programme each time we dance in front of the public.

Well there isn't very much to say at the moment, but I thought this time I would let everyone know that we are still all alive and kicking and dancing our feet off.

If you want to see us in action, why not drop in the Hall on a Monday afternoon between 2pm and 3 p.m. and have a look, we wont charge you for this and there is always a seat available.

As always best wishes to everyone.

Vivienne Fisher.
